Kevin Stahl is an award-winning composer, drummer, and music educator from Philadelphia, PA. He holds a Master of Music in Composition from Rowan University and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. He is both a free-lance composer, and the in-house composer and co-founder of Idryonis Studios, a creative post-production agency. He is adjunct professor of music technology at Rowan University.
In addition to his award-winning film scores, Kevin’s growing catalog of concert music has been performed and premiered across the USA. Most recently, his evocative piece for wind ensemble, “Hobgoblin of Little Minds” was world-premiered in New Jersey, and a piece for large percussion ensemble, “Requiescence” received its West Coast Premier at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at University of California. He has been commissioned to compose works for schools, such as his newest piece for concert band, “Glass Threads and Frostwork“.
His award-winning film scores for “My Brother’s Keeper” and “Destined” have been released commercially, along with his inventive and atmospheric orchestral soundtrack to the museum attraction entitled, “Deep Ocean Safari“.
